RSC Volleyball Point System

Postseason selection and seeding

The River States Conference will utilize the point system as listed below in determining the top eight teams for the postseason tournament.

The tournament will be hosted by the team earning the most points in the east division.  The Win/Loss percentage will be from the final standings after all contests are played. Teams could see points increase or decrease based on how other teams finish the season.

Points are only assigned for conference contests and presented in the standings as points per match to account for the uneven number of teams in each division.

Points are not automatically updated by the system following each match.  This will be a manual process of posting them.  Standings as listed are not sorted by points.

The top 8 teams overall by points will advance.
