Alderton chosen RSC Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week

MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- Breanna Alderton from Brescia (Ky.) University is the River States Conference Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week for Sept. 11-17.

Alderton, a senior, earned the award for the second time this season. She placed first of 83 runners at the Midway (Ky.) Invitational this past weekend. Alderton ran a time of 22:58 in the 6K to win by nearly a minute at the site of the RSC Championship.
