Forrest claims RSC Women's Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week

MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- Grace Forrest from University of Rio Grande (Ohio) is the River States Conference Women's Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week for April 8-14.

Forrest, a sophomore from Woodstock, Ohio, qualified for NAIA nationals in the 5,000-meter racewalk. She met the NAIA A standard placing third at the Electric City Invitational. 

Forrest posted a time of 27 miutes, 20.97 seconds to make her nationals mark and also set a school record in the process.
