Duncan earns RSC Women's Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week again

MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- Sydney Duncan from Indiana University Kokomo is the River States Conference Women's Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week for April 1-7.

A freshman from Anderson, Ind., she picked up the award for the third time this season. Duncan had three high finishes in the throws at the Taylor (Ind.) University George Glass Invitational. 

She was second in the shot put at 13.32 meters to hit the NAIA B standard. She was second in the discus throwing 40.23 meters and fifth in the hammer going 42.07 meters. Duncan leads the RSC in all of those events.
