Gottler chosen RSC Women's Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week

MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- Trinity Gottler from Midway (Ky.) University is the River States Conference Women's Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week for March 11-17.

Gottler, a freshman from Lexington, Ky., won four throws events at the Asbury (Ky.) Invitational to claim the honor. She set program records in each of those winning the shot put, discus, hammer and javelin.

Gottler had a distance of 11.95 meters in the shot put, threw the discus 38.83 meters, the hammer 37.95 meters and the javelin 34.93 meters.
