Hines named RSC Women's Indoor Track Athlete of the Week

MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- Taniyah Hines from Midway (Ky.) University is the River States Conference Women's Indoor Track Athlete of the Week for Feb. 5-11.

The freshman from Lexington, Ky., set a school recordin the 60-meter hurdles to place second at the Centre Indoor Invitational. That was with a time of 9.06 seconds.

She was just .03 seconds away from the NAIA national standard and moved into the No. 2 ranking in the RSC for the event.
