Marino picks up RSC Women's Tennis Player of the Week

MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- Linda Marino from Indiana University East is the River States Conference Women's Tennis Player of the Week for April 15-21. 

A senior from Bucaramanga, Colombia, Marino swept her matches with a 4-0 record last week. That came in team victories over IU Kokomo, 4-3, and over IU Soutehast, 6-1.

Playing at No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles in both matches, Marino was a part of a 6-2, 6-4 victory at singles and a 6-4 win in doubles to top IU Kokomo in a tight match. Versus IU Southeast, she won 6-4, 6-1 in singles and 6-4 in doubles.
