Cox named RSC Women's Basketball Player of the Week for the third time

MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- Haley Cox from Ohio Christian University earned River States Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week for the third time this season. The latest award is for games played Dec. 18-31 to encompass events over the Christmas holiday break. 

Cox, a senior guard from Columbus, Ohio, averaged 28.5 points, 10.5 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 3.0 steals per game in two games during that time. She shot 46 percent from the field and 96 percent (24 for 25) from the foul line. 

Cox had a pair of double-doubles with 28 points and 10 rebounds in a win over Madonna (Mich.) and then 29 points, 11 rebounds and four steals in a loss at Huntington (Ind.).
