The 2023 River States Conference Men's & Women's Cross Country Championships descend upon Midway (Ky.) University, on Saturday, Nov. 4. Eleven schools will compete in the championship meet, which will take place at the Falling Springs Cross Country Course located at 275 Beasley Road, Versailles, Ky., 40383.

The women's 6,000-meter race begins the day at 10:00 a.m. ET followed by the men's 8,000-meter race at 11:00 a.m. ET. The RSC Awards Ceremony will be held approximately 12:15 p.m. ET near the start/finish line.

The 11 RSC men's and women's teams in attendance will be vying for NAIA National Championship qualification for the team champions on the day. The NAIA also provides for individual qualification to nationals based on the number of teams competing in the race. The top four individuals from each race who are not from the championship team will also advance to NAIA's. Those individuals must be in the Top 15 overall finishers of the races in order to qualify.

The top five finishers for each team in each race will make up the score for their team. The sixth and seventh finishers will count as displacers, and ties in team scoring shall be broken by comparing in order the finish of each of the five scoring members of the tied teams. The team with the majority of winning comparisions will be the higher place.

RSC all-conference honors will also be on the line with the top seven runners in each race named All-RSC First Team. Those who finish eighth through 14th will be All-RSC Second Team with the next finishers All-RSC Third Team. Individual awards for RSC Runner of the Year, Newcomer of the Year and Coach of the Year will also be decided on the day along with the team awards for the champion and runner-up of each gender. The RSC Champions of Character and RSC Scholar-Athlete Teams will also be named.

Race timing will be handled by King Timing with results available at http://live.kingtiming.com/meets/580519. Championship information along with course maps are available below.
