Jenkins takes home RSC Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week

MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- Tyler Jenkins from University of Rio Grande earned River States Conference Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week for Oct. 9-15.

It's the third time this fall the sophomore from Barnesville, Ohio, claimed the award. The latest came from his second-place finish at the Jenna Strong Classic to lead all runners from the NAIA, including those from other RSC schools. He ran a time of 24 minutes, 46 seconds in the big race of 320 runners and 8,000 meters.
