Green named RSC Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week

MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- Eric Green from Shawnee State (Ohio) University is the River States Conference Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week for Oct. 2-8.

A junior goalkeeper from Wheelersburg, Ohio, Green made a combined 10 saves in two games. That gave the Bears points in both games, a 2-1 win over IU East with six saves and a 1-1 tie versus Oakland City (Ind.) with four saves. Green played all 90 minutes in both results.
