de Campos snags RSC Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week

MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- Matheus de Campos from University of Rio Grande (Ohio) earned River States Conference Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week for Sept. 25-Oct. 1.

A goalkeeper and a graduate student, de Campos posted two shutouts on the week. Playing all 90 minutes in both games of a 2-0 week for the No. 9 RedStorm, de Campos beat Midway (Ky.), 3-0, and Ohio Christian, 7-0. He made two saves in all.
