Brescia Advances to Region XII Men's Soccer Final

Updated--Brescia to play Millgan Saturday

Brescia advances 4-1 over King College to the Finals of Region XII. The Bearcats advance to play Milligan at 3pm. Milligan defeated Montreat 1-0 Friday Night. The winner of the match gets an automatic bid to the NAIA Men's Soccer National Tournament November 15th-21st in Daytona Beach, Florida. Here's a recap from the AAC:
MILLIGAN COLLEGE PRESS RELEASE, TN (November 10, 2006) ---
The Brescia University men's soccer team defeated King College by a score of 4-1 on Friday evening in the NAIA Region XII Semifinal game at Anglin Field.

King got on the board first, with a goal from Igor Slisko in the 20th minute, but they were unable to hold the lead, and Brescia responded with four unanswered goals.

Andrew Varnes, David Shaw, Paul O'Toole and Fritz Seilbea all scored goals for Brescia, while Angel Abundez recorded three saves in goal.
