Valrie selected RSC Men's Basketball Player of the Week

MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- Jo Valrie from Point Park (Pa.) University is selected the River States Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week for Jan. 8-14.

The junior forward from Houston, Texas, averaged 27.5 points and 10.5 rebounds in two games while shooting 53 percent in a 2-0 weekend for the Pioneers. 

Valrie put up 30 points and 12 rebounds in a win at Oakland City (Ind.) while connecting on 12 field goals. He scored 25 points, grabbed nine rebounds and made 11 for 18 from the field in a victory at Brescia (Ky.).
