Trembach chosen RSC Women's Tennis Player of the Week

MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- Maria Trembach from Oakland City (Ind.) University is the River States Conference Women's Tennis Player of the Week for March 25-31. 

Trembach, a sophomore from Kyiv, Ukraine, picked up a big win over NCAA Division II opponent Tiffin (Ohio). Playing at No. 1 singles, she beat the No. 29-ranked player in the country in three sets. 

The victory was very hard-fought with scores of 0-6, 7-5, 11-9 coming back from a set down and winning in extra games each of the next two sets.
